Winchester First Friday’s

old town lightsI just got back from selling Christmas Wreaths for my Kiwanis Club. We set up a stand on the old mall to take advantage of the “First Friday” crowd. Winchester’s First Friday is held, you guessed it, the first Friday of every month. The Old Town Winchester Development Board describe it as “an evening of drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, photography and other visual art”, where “locals and visitors are invited to stroll the historic streets at their leisure, visit galleries, meet local artists, view new works and exhibits, and listen to live music.”

I always enjoy spending time with my fellow Kiwanians but our wreath selling skills need improvement. Unfortunately we only sold two wreaths, we’ll be back out tomorrow so come by and see us.
